No Sugar No Flour

Cookies are a favorite sweet for many people, I have found a really good No Sugar No Flour Oatmeal, Banana Raisin cookie that is all natural and healthy for you.

In my last post I made sugar free applesauce that I will use in this recipe. I first saw it posted on facebook and thought it looked very interesting, I searched and found the original source 0n pinterest.com.

Breakfast cookies

Ingredients :

3 mashed bananas (ripe)
⅓ cup apple sauce ( homemade sugar free )
2 cups oats
¼ cup almond milk ( unsweetened )
½ cup raisins
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon.

Directions :

Preheat oven to 350º.

Mix all ingredients in a bowl really well. Let this mixture stand for at least 5 minutes to let the oats become good & hydrated. Heap the dough by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet ( I like to use my glass baking dish with no grease ). bake for 15-20 minutes.

Diabetes runs in my family and this has no sugar no flour, only the natural sugars found in the raw forms of the foods themselves. I was really surprised at how well this worked out with the cookie being very soft and mildly sweet.

My cholesterol is at the point that I have to change what I eat or risk going on medication for it ( not a good thing ). Also the fact that a rear form of Diabetes in my family has made me look to cutting as much bad foods and sugar as I possibly can.

You can bet I will be making these cookies often with No Sugar No Flour.
